Can I edit my account information?
Editing your account information is easy. Simply log into your account with your username and password and click on the “Manage My Account” tab. A new page will open for you to make your updates.
Should your email address change, please notify us by emailing info@hirebuysell.com.au with the following details:
- Old email address
- New email address
- Contact name and phone number associated with your account
- Ad reference number (if applicable)
Once we’ve verified your details we’ll notify you of the change via email.
I’ve forgotten my username or password; what do I do?

How do I list my vehicles on Hire.Buy.Sell?
The process of listing your vehicles for sale or hire is simple. Please follow these steps to successfully post your ads:
- Register a Hire.Buy.Sell account
- You’ll be sent an email with activation link; click the link to activate your account
- Log in to your account
- Choose “Create Ad”
- Select your category from the dropdown menu
- Click “Enter Ad Descriptions”
- Enter the details for your vehicle for sale or hire, save and then proceed to upload your images
- Preview your ad and ensure you’re happy with it before clicking “Finalize”
- It’s important to note:
- Once you’ve clicked on “Submit” you cannot change the status of your ad
- If there is an urgent need to make changes, please contact us and we’ll be glad to do it for you
How much does it cost to post an ad?
Nothing! It’s absolutely free for everyone.
How long will an ad run for on Hire.Buy.Sell?

How can I change my user status from private to dealer?
Simply send us an email with your request and we’ll process it within 24 hours.
How can I list my company in the business directory?
Listing your company in our dealer directory couldn’t be easier; simply complete the dealer registration form, then click on manage my store under manage my account , and that will take you to your own store where you can upload your compnay details and logo .
How do I remove my ad once I’ve sold my item?
Log in to your account and then click on Manage Ads. Select the ad you want to remove and click Delete.
What size photos are required for my ads?
The recommended file size for your ads is: 640 x 480 pixels; 75kb. We’d like to discourage you from using high resolution images as it takes longer for them to load. If necessary, we’d be glad to resize your images for you.
What file format should my images be in?
Jpegs are the only files that are accepted.
What’s the maximum number of images I can submit with my ad?
Up to 6 images are permitted.
